Le
Jaonnet is situated in the small farming hamlet of Liaubou-Bas, which
nestles in the lovely wooded Périgord countryside, and is set
between the medieval towns of Sarlat, Domme and Gourdon. A tranquil
spot, yet easy to reach and not far from any of the wonderful châteaux
and prehistoric caves which are to be found in this fascinating area. |

Le Jaonnet was originally built as a hay-barn in the early 1800s. After a series of additions it was converted to a farmhouse in 1907. In the late 1980s the farmhouse and adjoining stables were partially converted by a Parisian architect into two separate properties. The house boasts a colourful country garden with splendid rural views and plenty of shade.

Full air-conditioning has also been installed into the three upstairs guest rooms. The property also has a barn which is suitable for restoration to convert it into a two-bed roomed cottage. |
